SDGS ACT ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY COORDINATOR SPEECH

Wow!!! On the 5th of October, 2015 SDGsACT was launched as platform for Africa Youths to help carry out #SDGs awareness. Today marks ONE year of SDGsACT in Africa.

I Adejoro Oluwashola, African coordinator SDGsACT wishes to thank all who have contributed in one way or the other for the success of SDGsACT thus far. Without you, there is no SDGsACT. During this first year, I have learnt a lot of lesson and SDGsACT has passed through some hard times, but the vision of the initiative keep us going. I will like to thank all the State Coordinators for their commitment, passion and impact toward our vision and mission.
I can't but thank all our country coordinators for believing in the vision not minding it came from Nigeria but believing solely in the realization of #SDGs in #Africa and keyed into the platform.
To all our #partners, who saw the seal and commitment in us and partnered with us to achieve our advocacy roles.
*APOLOGY FOR THE CONFERENCE*
Dear Africa,
I want to use this season to apologize for the cancellation of the publicized SDGsACT CONFERENCE which was because of some logistics as a result of poor planning strategies. I believe many also planned to attend but was disappointed.
I ADEJORO OLUWASHOLA TOOK THE WHOLE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONFERENCE FAILURE AND PROMISE THAT SUCH WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

SDGs is a mission for us all and we must see to the realization of it in African. The success of SDGs is a collective responsibility of Government, Private sectors, International donors and citizens. So we all must play our part.
In order to serve Africa more better SDGsACT is undergoing restructuring which we believe it will make more proactive.
